WHAT IS ALTITUDE TRAINING?

Altitude training exposes the body to a low-oxygen environment (simulated hypoxia), forcing it to adapt by improving oxygen efficiency, increasing red blood cell production, and optimising metabolism. This leads to faster fat loss, greater endurance, enhanced muscle gain and improved mental resilience.

WILL I GET ALTITUDE SICKNESS?

No. Our simulated altitude environment is controlled and designed for safe, progressive adaptation. Altitude sickness occurs due to rapid changes in air pressure at high elevations, but in our facility, we use a normobaric hypoxic environment, meaning there is no change in air pressure, only a controlled reduction in oxygen levels.

DO I NEED TO BE AN ATHLETE TO TRAIN AT HI-BRID ALTITUDE TRAINING?

No! Anyone can benefit from altitude training. Whether you're a competitive athlete, an aspiring hybrid athlete, or someone looking to burn fat, build muscle, and improve overall fitness, altitude training accelerates results faster than sea-level training.

HOW IS SIMULATED ALTITUDE TRAINING DIFFERENT TO ACTUAL ALTITUDE TRAINING?

Simulated altitude training recreates the physiological effects of high-altitude training without the need to travel to the mountains. Unlike terrestrial altitude, where oxygen levels drop due to reduced air pressure, our facility uses normobaric hypoxia, meaning oxygen concentration is lowered while air pressure remains stable. HI-BRID Altitude Training doesn’t take air away from the room; instead, we add filtered air with a lower oxygen concentration, simulating the same oxygen availability as training at 3,500–4,000m above sea level. This forces the body to adapt just like it would at altitude.
